Loki has quickly become one of the most-watched Marvel series. At the moment, it’s only on its second episode, with its third episode releasing on Wednesday. This article will contain minor spoilers for both Loki and Wanda Vision.
After watching episode 2, some elements of his character’s abilities felt very familiar to how Wanda uses it. However, it seems to be a weaker version with him being beaten by a random guy, but the new variant showed strong signs of chaos magic.
Green is the New Red
At the moment, we don’t have that much to go on in the Marvel Universe of what chaos magic is. Wanda Vision did open a lot of theories of what chaos magic might do in the future. We know what abilities chaos magic does involve.
One of them being the mind control ability that has been a part of the Marvel Universe since Avengers Age of Ultron. One of the first abilities we saw Wanda use. It did appear at the end of episode 2 of Loki and was used by a Loki.
Could Loki appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness?
It doesn’t seem like they would give Loki this ability if it wasn’t connected to chaos magic or even Wanda herself. Loki already looks like it will set up the sequel to Doctor Strange, with the Multiverse being mentioned multiple times in Loki.
It’s an obvious connection that will most likely include Loki in some way. But the movie looks to go into more detail about Wanda’s chaos magic and it’s going to affect the Multiverse. Still, the connection between both Wanda’s and Loki’s magic could also play a part in the upcoming movie.
