‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
Genoa City is going to be ground zero for opportunities, both lost and found, and it could make a couple of storylines really entertaining going forward.
Let’s dive in, shall we?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 8: Summer’s bonding attempt
With the rest of her seeming to blow up around her, Summer Newman (Hunter King) will rely on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)’s certainty when she meets and attempts to connect with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez).
She’ll be nervous going in, and we fully expect her to fail gloriously.
Not that Harrison will be rude or mean, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers thinks Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) told him a lot about Kyle before they arrived in Genoa City, so Harrison was more comfortable with him.
He called Kyle “Daddy” awfully fast, so there had to be some coaching in there somewhere, or he’s as smart as Kyle and we wouldn’t wish that on anyone.
With Summer’s attempt thwarted, her insecurities will ramp up and she’ll think and/or accuse Tara of setting her up to steal Kyle.
At this point, we’re ready for just about anything to happen, but we also don’t think the show will go this route exactly. We’ll just have to wait and see.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Tuesday, June 8: Honeymoon’s over
It looks like Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are going to start having some tense moments with their honeymoon being over.
This one appears to be about how they’re going to fight Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and we assume Victor’s going to want to nuke him while Adam will offer caution.
As any relationship with Victor, if someone doesn’t bend to his will he’ll want to break them. And if Adam keeps arguing different points Victor will tire of it sooner rather than later.
On a slightly different note, Adam has said he wants to change and be a better person, and what if being that better person means he’s not so gung ho about attacking and destroying Billy?
Victor won’t stand for that, and we could be seeing another Newman family war coming on the horizon.
We’ve been mentioning it for a while, but it looks like Victor’s going to have to face his children at some point and it’s a battle we don’t think he can win.
Will he and Adam be able to coexist or will things turn sour between them before long?
