Tonight is going to be an awesome show as Sami Callihan and Moose face off, and Kojima from NJPW is making his Impact in ring debut against Deaner.
And we can’t forget the X-Division Championship 60 Minute Ironman Match where Josh Alexander defends the X-Division Championship against TJP on BTI (Before The Impact).
We’ll be back for the 7 p.m. EST showtime for BTI to begin the ironman match and get Impact Wrestling Live Results started.
Segment 1
BTI (Before The Impact) – X-Division Championship 60 Minute Ironman Match – Josh Alexander (c) w/Petey Williams vs. TJP w/Fallah Bahh
This could be the match of the year no matter the promotion, and we’ve been waiting for it all week.
They started off jockeying for position before things got interesting.
A clinic of moves and countermoves as well as innovative counters were the story of the match for the first 15 minutes with no falls for either competitor.
Segment 2
After a series of pin attempts and reversals, Alexander scored a pinfall to go up 1-0, then went to work on TJP’s back as we headed to a commercial at 32 minutes to go.
Segment 3
Some more close calls came as TJP fought to regain some momentum and locked in a couple of holds, but the advantage remains with Alexander at 1-0 with roughly 20 minutes to go.
Fun note, Alexander used a stalling suplex and he held TJP up for over 30 seconds.
Segment 4
TJP tied it up by reversing a ankle lock into a pin, but Alexander won by pinfall in sudden death overtime with a double underhook piledriver.
Segment 5
Table Match – Jake Something vs. Rohit Raju
Rohit started it off fast, but Jake nearly powered him into a table, so Rohit headed to the floor on the opposite side of the ring as we headed to commercial.
Segment 6
This was a fun match and they really hammered on each other as Rohit used a couple of chairs on Jake.
Jake won by hitting a spear and driving Rohit through a table propped up in the corner of the ring.
Segment 7
Rich Swann vs. W. Morrissey
This didn’t happen as Morrissey attacked Swann from behind, then faced off with security before Willie Mack hit him with a chair to no effect.
Morrissey eventually left on his own, never breaking eye contact with those in the ring.
Segment 8
Brian Myers started his training of Sam Beale with mixed results.
Knockouts Tag Team Championship – Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan, Tasha Steelz) (c) vs. Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering
This was a really good match with great team work as Steelz hit a splash off the top rope on Grace for the pin.
Segment 9
Satoshi Kojima vs. Deaner w/VBD (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Rhino)
This was a fun match and Deaner had a couple of close pin attempts before Rhino and Joe Doering tried to interfere, but Eddie Edwards came out with Kenny to keep them honest.
Kojima won after hitting a cutter and clothesline for his debut win in Impact. It was great seeing him in action.
Segment 10
Moose vs. Sami Callihan
Moose started out dominating, but Callihan sidestepped a cannonball into the guardrail on the floor and went to work on Moose’s arm as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
This was an awesome match that ended with Callihan winning by DQ when the Good Brothers attacked him and hit the Magic Killer.
Kenny Omega and Don callis came out, and Omega helped stomp Callihan and Moose before they headed to the back to celebrate.
Scott D’Amore was waiting for them, and he informed Callis that since Callihan won he thinks it should be a triple threat at Against All Odds.
He added that Tony Kahn would be there next week to discuss it, and Callis wasn’t happy.
This was a great show and it lived up to what we expected. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below, and thank you for joining Impact Wrestling Live Results.
We had a great time and can’t wait to see you all next week.
See you then!
