Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
Tonight we welcome back Eva Marie after several years away from the company and a couple of months of buildup.
We’re going to get set up and we’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST start time to get WWE Raw Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Alexa’s Playground opened the show and Nia Jax challenged Alexa later tonight.
Nikki Cross vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair started off fast, but Nikki almost had a rollup win when Rhea Ripley came out.
Flair beat Nikki down on the floor and threw her into the ring as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
Flair dominated throughout, but decided showboating in from of Ripley who sat at ringside. Nikki rolled into the ring and Flair was counted out.
Flair then attacked Nikki, but Ripley grabbed her before she could lock in a figure 4 and hit a Riptide before she headed to the back.
Segment 3
Jeff Hardy vs. John Morrison w/The Miz
Morrison won a fun but short match after hitting Starship Pain.
Cedric Alexander came out and told Jeff he apologizes for last week and that he’s an idol of his, but then when he saw how Jeff mocked him he’s sorry he didn’t send him to a retirement home.
Jeff told him he’ll retire if Alexander can beat him right now, so that match is next,
Segment 4
Retirement Match – Jeff Hardy vs. Cedric Alexander
Jeff won another blink if you miss it match with a Twist of Fate and Swanton Bomb.
Segment 5
Naomi vs. Eva Marie
This was actually Naomi vs. Niven (main roster name unknown) that destroyed her, and Marie took credit for the win.
Segment 6
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) vs. R-K-Bro (Randy Orton, Riddle)
The new Day took control early, and after sending Orton and Riddle to the floor, they faked a pair of suicide dives as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
Orton and Riddle turned the tide and pushed Woods and Kingston to the limit before Kingston kicked out of a Floating Bro as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was an awesome match with plenty of false falls going back and forth, and Orton hit a RKP on Woods to end it and possibly out this feud to bed.
Segment 9
Rhea Ripley vs. Asuka
This started with a great back and forth as Asuka tried to use her speed to her advantage, but Ripley face slammed her into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
This was an awesome match Ripley eventually won after hitting a Ripcord, and Flair attacked her from behind and they fought for a good five minutes despite officials getting in the middle of it and separating them.
The ending felt more like a time waster than anything. No reason to go on this long, and then to end it with Ripley telling her to get in the ring right now.
Segment 11
Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss
Alexa took it to Jax in this match and it was a pretty good back and forth until Alexa hit Twisted Bliss and Reginald pulled her off the cover, giving Alexa a DQ win.
Alexa then seemed to hypnotize him before she left the ring.
Segment 12
Elias vs. Jaxson Ryker
This was a quick one where both brutalized each other before Elias chose a count out loss.
We love seeing more WWE superstars in action, but these fast matches feel super rushed. A flow that’s not at breakneck speed all the time may be better.
Segment 13
Drew McIntyre vs. AJ Styles w/Omos
We expect this match will be used by McIntyre to send a message, so we don’t expect it to last too long. Hope we’re wrong.
And of course Bobby Lashey came out to watch the match from the stage. Three times someone’s come out tonight. Can we stop with the lazy gimmick repeats, please? Seriously.
Well, it was a good match until McIntyre hit a Future Shock DDT, gave an “up yours” motion to Lashley, which caused him to head to the ring.
Omos pulled Styles to the floor and the Viking Raiders came out.
And here we go with more of the same.
Segment 14
To our surprise, the match continued with everyone gathered at ring side so it’s easier to create a huge scrum to head into the PPV like usual.
The match ended up being a really good one until McIntyre hit Lashley on the floor, and Lashley attacked him in the ring to give McIntyre the DQ win.
Erik and Ivar attacked Lashley and threw him to the floor and McIntyre hit him with a belly to belly suplex as we headed to commercial.
Segment 15
6 Man Tag Match – Drew McIntyre and the Viking Raiders (Eric, Ivar) vs. AJ Styles and Omos and Bobby Lashley
This started off as a pretty decent match as Styles started it off taking punishment from the Viking Raiders, but Lashley ran out after changing and took McIntyre off the apron.
After a back and forth, Omos leveled Ivar with a shoulder block as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was a solid match that ended when Styles tagged in Lashley out of desperation, and McIntyre hit him with a Claymore as he turned around and scored the pinfall victory.
The ending was anti-climactic, but since the match only had 15 minutes and the set up was as predictable as possible once everyone came out, it’s not a surprise.
The show was decent with some good moments, though. What did you think of it? Let us know in the comments below and thank you for joining WWE Raw Live Results tonight.
We had a great time hanging out and can’t wait until next week.
See you all then!
