Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have called on the world to become more compassionate in light of the troubles we are experiencing amid the pandemic.

The pair, for their part, have no shortage of security given that they are on course to become the world’s first billionaire couple. While that may still be the case, the duo’s recent falling out with the Royal family has taught them the importance of trying to be kind to each other.
This has been seen most notably through Harry’s purported reconciliation with his brother Prince William at a recent unveiling of a statue in memory of their late mother, Princess Diana. And this philosophy is something they hope to continue going forward.
In an official statement given on their website, Harry and Meghan stated how they use their foundation as a way to call on the world to unite. They said: “We believe that compassion can unleash incredible change across the world.
“Our mission at Archewell is to drive systemic, cultural change — one act of compassion at a time. We believe that compassion is at the core of all culture and connection in this world.” Although it is always good to see a message of positivity being conveyed, these things must ultimately begin at home.
Meghan has still been ostracised from the Royal family, despite the fact that she is the mother of Queen Elizabeth’s grandchildren. Naturally, this problem should be addressed. And yet, it does not look like there will be any headway.
After all, Meghan could easily have travelled to the UK with Harry to see William. Her failure to do so confirmed that there is still a lot of bitterness left in the family. Their following words, if followed, could change that.
The statement added: “Each time someone conducts an act of compassion — whether it’s mentoring a young woman or holding space for someone having a difficult day — our world becomes a better place.”
