‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some spoilery goodness to close the week out and set us up for a possible fun ride next week.
It looks like we’re going to have some more Newman family drama but on the down low, and an unlikely alliance that should prove entertaining before too long.

There are plenty of alliances that would raise eyebrows in Genoa City, but for various reasons Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is going to raise more eyebrows than most.
Of course, we have every confidence that they’ll fill in their significant others about what they’re up to, but maybe not as much as they should.
Phyllis likes to be secretive, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will trust her while he tries to wiggle the information out of her.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) won’t have a problem with it, but we’re curious if she’ll want to know or if Billy will want to keep it closer to the vest.
He did offer for her to go with him, so we don’t think it’ll be a problem.
At least, until the writers decide Billy needs to go back to his old ways and he makes a risky decision that’ll cost him.

After Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) ripped into her about not informing him of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s dealing, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will throw even more support behind her daughter.
It’ll be her subtle way of showing Victoria she has faith in her while also flipping Victor off for not being able to accept the idea he’s not in charge or even needed in some aspects.
This will mean a lot to Victoria, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have a feeling she’ll need all the support she can get in the coming weeks.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, July 16: Helping hand
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is pretty close to her wits’ end when it comes to learning about her grandfather’s past, so she’ll go to the one person that won’t be afraid to tell her what she needs to know.
Of course, Victor won’t just hand over a bunch of information for her, but he will guide her to where she has to look or who she needs to talk to.
This should be an interesting scene just to see how far Victor is willing to go to help Amanda, but they do have a bond so that should help.
