The WWE has made more than it’s share of enemies over the last year or so as they’ve released roughly 40% of their roster in 2021 for budget reasons, and now Mickie James slammed them over Bray Wyatt’s release.
Honestly, we’re not surprised that she came out swinging on this one and from what we’ve seen on social media, most wrestling fans agree with her.
Twice Bray Wyatt came up with awesome character and story ideas, and twice his hard work was shattered by questionable decisions by WWE Creative, mainly Vince McMahon.
Actually, it could be argued four times if we look at the three times the Fiend was give the short end of the stick.
I think what you meant to say was: “Thank you so much for coming up with such an incredible gimmick(time & time again)one so cool & over, we really didn’t know how to book it right. So we just gave it to someone else so we can still make ALL the money off of it & let you go”🤷🏻♀️ 🤯 https://t.co/rWVtbxOioA

The HIAC debacle with Seth Rollins, Goldberg squashing him for the Universal Championship, and then what ended up being Wyatt’s final match for the company at WrestleMania when Orton was able to pin him after hitting an RKO.
And no, because the Fiend was distracted doesn’t work considering he kicked out of far worse previously.
Reborn again and again
Each time, Wyatt rebuilt his character back up only to have it torn down again because someone didn’t understand how to handle a character like that.
To be fair, it’s not the first time someone didn’t know how to book a wrestler and it won’t be the last.
But the fans burying everyone in boos at a conceived ending, and not because it was good, should be a hint.
The worst part about this is it looks like the release came because of budget cuts to make the profit margin look better, and it plays into the rumor the WWE will be sold before too long.
We’ll have to wait and see on that one.
Mickie lets them have it

Brutally honest is probably the best way we can describe James’ comment.
She is, after all, no stranger to calling out the WWE as she did when they sent her things to her in a garbage bag with her name taped to it.
Dear @VinceMcMahon Im not sure if you’re aware, I did receive my @WWE care package today. Thank you. #AlwaysBlessedandGrateful #WomensWrestlingMatters 💋 pic.twitter.com/PyDC7ZC9lG

Of course, the WWE was quick to apologize, but it wasn’t good optics for a company with a bad reputation among fans.
