‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with a fun episode and some fun spoilery goodies to get us warmed up.
Nothing like some serious relationship work to send us to the weekend wanting more, and we have a feeling it’s going to be a cliffhanger that’s going to make us gobble up plenty of comfort food.
Without further ado, let’s get to the juicy fun stuff.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, July 9: Ben’s dilemma
It looks like Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is going to keep his appointment with Marlena Evans (Diedre Hall) and the topic will be none other than Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).
Not a surprise, right? The difference here is there’s a chance that Marlena hadn’t heard about Ciara’s return or that she’s engaged to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) in his quest to steal an amnesiac married woman.
And no, we are not going to let Theo off the hook like most in Salem who care more about his feelings than doing what’s right.
Alrighty, back to the topic at hand.
Ben will out his heart out to Marlena and explain how he doesn’t know what to do and he hopes he’s doing the right thing.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers doubt Ben will be able to convince Marlena into talking with Ciara gain, and he may not try.
This doesn’t mean Marlena won’t offer to do it or make a choice to do so after their session is over.
With his marriage hanging by a thread, Ben’s going to hope for the best but he’s going to feel awfully alone.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Friday, July 9: Ciara defends herself
We’re not sure how it’s going to happen, but it looks like Ciara will cross paths with her old bestie Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer).
Since we’re pretty sure Ciara hasn’t forgiven Claire yet, we think this will be a contentious meeting after Claire mistakenly thinks Ciara got her memory back and returned to be with Ben.
Ciara won’t hesitate to set her straight and do her usual badmouthing and belittling of Ben to two people that witnessed how much he loves her first hand.
It won’t take long for Ciara to be on her heels when father and daughter both set her straight on what she’s spouting and that if she’s so confident in how she feels about Ben, then why is she afraid to recover her memories?
The challenge could be enough to trigger Ciara’s fight reaction and she could go to Marlena to remove any doubts once and for all.
Of course, if they go that route we expect that to happen next week so we can chew on Ciara’s possible decision over the weekend.
