Prince William and Prince Harry may have finally put their troubles behind them following their recent meeting in the UK in order to unveil a statue in memory of their late mother, Princess Diana.
British Royal Family News: Prince William And Prince Harry Have ‘Turned A New Page’
The pair initially fell out after Harry and his wife Meghan Markle had decided to publicly reveal that members of the Royal family had expressed concerns over their son Archie’s skin colour. This, coupled with Meghan’s revelations that she had contemplated suicide because of the Royals, created a major rift between the brothers.
This was especially since Meghan had aired this during Prince Philip’s hospitalisation. Insiders confirmed just how bad things had been. An insider said: “It’s no secret that the last year Harry and Meghan have been at war with the royals.”
However, now it seems they have made some breakthroughs. A source revealed: “They have absolutely turned a new page in their relationship and have started the healing. Everyone around them was thrilled to see how close they were on the day of the statue unveiling.”
In addition, people within the Royal’s circle expressed concerns over how Diana would have been unhappy at the prospect of the two falling out. After all, they both live with the pain of knowing that their mother had tragically died in a car crash.
While Meghan is still out of the picture for now, at the very least, the brothers can continue to honour their mother by showing a united front to the public. In a prior joint statement given at the unveiling, Harry and William made sure that they would carry on in their mother’s footsteps.
They stated: “We remember her…character…Every day, we wish she were still with us, and our hope is that this statue will be seen forever as a symbol of her life and her legacy.” If the two brothers can manage to patch things up for good, then it is only a matter of time before the calls are made for Meghan to be reintroduced to the family on good terms.
