Sarah Ferguson has been left hurting after she recalled what it felt like to be one of those who were not given an invite to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding.

The pair got married in 2011, and given that a decade has passed since then, Sarah has had the opportunity to put it all into perspective. During an interview with Town & Country, Sarah admitted how she was left hurting by it all.
She said: “I didn’t think I was probably worthy to go to their wedding. I took myself to Thailand, actually, to be far away from it so that I could try and heal.” This is even more telling in light of the fact that Sarah had attended Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018.
Despite the divisions that have been going on ever since Harry and Meghan left the Royals, Sarah had confirmed previously that Princess Diana would have been proud of their decision. While that cannot be taken to mean that Sarah fully supports the couple, it does show that she was grateful to them for allowing her to attend their wedding.
And so it showed during a prior interview. In the interview with Good Morning Britain, Sarah remarked: “It was very kind of them. I can’t thank them enough for doing that because it was nerve-wracking. … I sort of looked around like, ‘Are they doing that for me?”
As for Sarah’s own personal life, it looks as though her days of finding a partner may be over. She was previously married to Prince Andrew, the latter who has since then been embroiled in mass controversy due to his association with Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew, for his part, was accused of being involved in sexual abuse against minors. Although some time has passed since then, it has still stayed with Sarah. And despite seeing two huge Royal weddings, Sarah’s time for a relationship looks to be over.
After all, she did not marry again ever since she left Andrew. Time will tell whether Sarah can win William and Kate over. But for now, she is content with trying to live her life according to what makes her happy.
