Slammiversay has been an Impact PPV that is usually full of surprises. Most of these surprises end up being the free agents from WWE and the massive releases. It looks like there could be a couple of new debuts at this year’s Slammiversary.
Mickie James
Mickie James is already part of NWA and has already been teased to be part of Impact. With a trash bag found with Micke James’ name on it in a segment. Mickie James could be the mystery contender to go against the current knockout champion Deonna Purrazzo.
Iconics
Then we have the Iconics; both Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are great wrestlers, but Peyton has already shown her promise as a single star. However, their tag team is one of the greatest and has never really been used properly in WWE. Impact Knockout tag belts could be one of the main reasons Iconics could come to Impact, and they could quickly become the best tag team in Impact.
Erick Rowan
Erick Rowan has appeared on AEW but only briefly to show his respect for Brody Lee’s tribute episode. Since then, he hasn’t been seen at any of the big companies. His time may come in the next Slammiversary. The only massive teased debut is the mystery challenger for the Knockout champion and not for a male star. However, there are a lot of current free agents, Erick being one of them.
Tyler Breeze
If we go by what we have recently heard about non-competitors at NXT. It may mean that Tyler Breeze’s contract is over after 30 days like Malakai Black. Making it possible for him to appear at the Slammiversary PPV. Tyler Breeze could be a huge addition to Impact’s roster.
Alexander Wolfe
Lastly, we have ex-Sainty member Alexander Wolfe. Only one Sainty member is in WWE, that being Nikki Cross. It is now possible for Alexander Wolfe to join his old stablemate, Eric Young and also Killian Dain could join if his contract is a 30 day non compete, but it’s possible that he’s got a 90 day non-complete.
