Tonight should be a fun one since Smackdown’s coming to us from two different locations, and we can’t wait to see what all’s in store for us.
Let’s get to the action!
John Cena came out to the ring to start the show off in Cleveland.
He said he was so excited he had to crash Raw for some fan Q &A and one of the questions was who to call to fact check Roman Reigns.

He then said once more that he came back to challenge Reigns for the Universal Championship at SummerSlam.
He said he officially changed his middle name to Guardians (to boos) to save what little respect the WWE has left thanks to Roman Reigns.
His play off the Cleveland Indians changing their name didn’t go well as the crowd wasn’t as loud after that. When the cheers did increase, fans on camera weren’t nearly as animated. Could the cheers have been pipped in?

He then asked the fans if they’re on Team Cena or Team Roman Reigns. He won with more cheers but not by much.
He then called Roman Reigns to the ring, and when he didn’t come out the fans booed.
Paul Heyman came out instead and told Cena he has it all wrong and mocked Cena’s cant’ see him bit and said he can’t hear him because Cena’s not worth listening to.
He then promised he’ll find out when Reigns comes out when he chooses because Reigns is there and then Heyman headed to the back mocking Cena’s song.

Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn
Balor started it off by going behind and Zayn hit an elbow and went to work on Balor’s left arm. Balor reversed the hold and Zayn popped him with a right and dragged Balor’s eyes across the top rope.
Zayn then threw Balor to the floor and followed him out and hammered away on Balor before throwing him back into the ring where Balor caught him and hammered and kicked Zayn down.
Balor threw him through the ropes to the floor and hit a dive as we headed to commercial.
Back from commercial break, they’re back in the ring with Zayn in control and caught him with a clothesline for a pin attempt.
Balor hit a boot and Zayn nailed him with a DDT but Balor countered a Helluva Kick with a slingblade.
Zayn caught him for a Blue Thunder Bomb for a near pinfall. Zayn then tried to hit an exploder into the corner but Balor blocked him both times and drove Zayn back and hit a series of shoulders.

Balor hit a pair of dropkicks before heading to the top rope to hit a double stomp for the win.
Backstage, Kayla Braxton brought in Baron Corbin and asked him about his crowdfunding site he started and asked how much he made and he said he lost money on it.
The guy that built his website ghosted him after he paid him and the guy stole his identity and credit cards.
He complained about the smell on the public bus he had to take there and asked what happened to him before heading off.
