‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some spoilery goodies to close out the week and help set us up for a big kickoff to next week.
The last few days have been borderline excruciating at times as they’ve built to this moment, and now we intend to fully enjoy it.
Time to get ready for some fireworks and wheeling and dealing. Looks like everything’s up in the air in Genoa City.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 5: It’s just business
It’s looking like Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is going to surprise someone with a business off, and we’re curious who it is.
The first name on the list for us is Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) when he learns of Ashland and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s marriage news.
It makes sense they’d cross Victor’s path since they’re heading out, and it’s reasonable to expect him to want to protect his daughter.
The problem here is Ashland doesn’t have long and he has all the money in the world, do buying him off won’t do any good.
So, maybe Victor will pay someone to create a little mischief to try to keep them from tying the knot?
Or more likely, he’ll pay someone to start working to undercut Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) without Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) knowing. We’re not sure which one we like better.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 5: A bold move
Now that he knows about who chased Summer Newman (Hunter King) away, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will finally do the smart thing and take a step to reclaim the life he’s allowed others to dictate.
This could come in several different ways, and CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think one thing he may do is to kick Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) out of the house.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will stop him, citing the need to forgive and all, and Kyle will be disgusted and storm out himself.
This opens the possibility of him heading to Italy to find Summer. And since both actors have been reported as leaving the show, she won’t want to return so they’ll stay there.
Jack will then get to clean up Kyle’s mess that he helped create by being a kinder, gentler person.
Or, more likely, Kyle will return to being heartbroken and beg Tara not to take their son after he confronts her. He hope this isn’t it, but we have a strange feeling he’s going to break down.
