Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Live Results!
I’m your host, CP Bialois, and we’re set for an interesting night as Bobby Lashley will face Sheamus in what could be the match of the night, and Damian Priest will start us off with an open challenge for the US Championship.
We’ll grab some snacks and return for the 8 p.m. EST show time to get WWE Raw Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
This started out as a clustermess as Priest’s open challenge was answered by Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley.
RK-Bro came out and Riddle challenged MVP and Lashley, so Sonya Deville and Adam Pearce made that match and Priest will defend the US title in a Triple Threat against McIntyre and Sheamus.
Segment 2
Rhea Ripley w/Nikki A.S.H vs. Shayna Baszler w/Nia Jax
Baszler dominated the early part of the match and stuck Ripley’s hand on the ring apron and stomped it as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
A good match ended when Ripley countered Baszler’s rollup with her own for the win, but Jax kept her promise and nailed Nikki and Ripley with a Samoan Drop as she readied to face Charlotte Flair later tonight.
Segment 4
The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar) vs. Jinder Mahal and Veer w/Shanky
This was a good match that went back and forth before Erik and Ivar hit the Viking Experience on Mahal for the win.
Segment 5
United States Championship Triple Threat Match – Damian Priest (c) vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
McIntyre and Priest teamed up against Sheamus and it spilled to the floor where McIntyre sent Sheamus into Priest and Priest backdropped him into the timekeeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 6
This match continued to go back and forth as the three of them hammered on each other before McIntyre was hung up in the corner and pulled himself up to suplex Sheamus and Priest off the top rope as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
McIntyre hit a Claymore on Sheamus but Priest caught him with a Reckoning for the win in an awesome match that’s easily the best of the night.
Segment 8
A pretaped u[date from Goldberg where he talked about his knee and injured son, and how he’s coming for Lashley’s soul.
Another cool vignette where Reggie once again avoided the efforts of R-Truth and Akira Tozawa.
Segment 9
Eva Marie vs. Doudrop
Doudrop destroyed Eva Marie before the bell rang and Marie couldn’t continue. Doudrop announced herself as the winner.
Segment 10
Karrion Kross vs. Humberto Carrillo
Kross won with a Kross Jacket, but this went a few minutes longer than it needed to. It was rough and felt like Kross was trying something new with wear down moves when he could’ve won.
We had higher hopes, but we think they’ll work things out.
Segment 11
Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair
This was a back and forth match as Flair tried to find ways around Jax’s power, and then hit a crossbody over the top rope to the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 12
This was a slow, methodical match that Jax eventually won after hitting a powerbomb for the pin.
Segment 13
Omos w/AJ Styles vs. John Morrison
Morrison managed to stay alive and get some shots in, but Omos quickly destroyed him for the win.
Segment 14
Xavier Woods vs. AJ Styles w/Omos
Styles prevailed after Woods tapped out to a Calf Crusher. This was a great match to set up the tag team championship, and with Styles and Omos staying at ringside you know they’re going to interfere.
Could it be setting up a Lashley and Omos feud if it happens?
Segment 15
Raw Tag Team Championship – RK-Bro (Riddle, Randy Orton) (c) vs. Bobby Lashley and MVP
This started off fast as Riddle went after Lashley, and then Orton worked over MVP before Riddle hit a moonsault off the ropes to take out both opponents on the floor as we headed to commercial.
Segment 16
This was another awesome match where Riddle and Orton had to fight off everyone before Riddle hit a Floating Bro on MVP for the win.
Lashley hit Riddle with a spear after the match and was going to slap on the Hurt Lock, but Orton hit him with an RKO to close the show is spectacular style.
This was the ending we needed and they delivered. Aside from three matches the night was clunky, but okay overall.
