Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
Tonight should be an interesting one as Roman Reigns deals with his John Cena-sized headache and Sasha Banks sets her sights on Bianca Belair‘s Smackdown Women’s Championship.
We’re looking forward to it, and we’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST showtime to kick things off and get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Bianca Belair started it off, and then Sasha Banks and Zelina Vega came out. So, Belair said she’ll see Banks at SummerSlam and Vega tonight.
Segment 2
Jey Uso w/Jimmy Uso vs. Dominik Mysterio w/Rey Mysterio
Jey dominated early one, but Dominik hit a sliding sunset bomb into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
A fun match ended when Jey avoided a splash and hit a superkick and Uso Splash for the win.
Segment 4
Intercontinental Championship Contenders Match – Apollo Crews w/General Azeez vs. King Nakamura w/Rick Boogs
This was a quick one Nakamura won by DQ when Azeez pulled him off a pin and Nakamura then fought Azeez off to stand tall.
Segment 5
Tamina vs. Nox w/Shotzi
Tamina had it won, but Shotzi fired a nerf missile to distract her for Nox to score the rollup win.
Segment 6
Edge frustrates and maneuvered Seth Rollins into accepting his challenge for a match at SummerSlam.
Segment 7
Street Profits (Montez Ford, Angelo Dawkins) vs. Dirty Dawgs (Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode)
This was a quick match that bordered on a squash match as the Street Profits showed they’re all the way back as Ford hit a From the Heavens on Ziggler for the win.
Segment 8
Bianca Belair vs. Zelina Vega
Belair dominated early on, but Sasha Banks came out and distracted Belair for Vega to hit a Sitton for a pin attempt as we headed to commercial.
Segment 9
The second half of the match was rough as it could be with mistimed moves before Belair won with a KOD.
Segment 10
Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin
Corbin put up a fight, but Balor squashed him with a double stomp and then said he wants a shot at Reigns and will go through John Cena to get it.
Segment 11
Reigns told Balor never to mention his name and Balor went after him. The Usos attacked Balor and eventually beat him down for Reigns to hit a Superman Punch and lock in a guillotine choke.
Reigns stood over him victorious as the show ended.
