Brain Cage has been one of the surprise signings of AEW. After appearing as the mystery opponent in a ladder match a while back since coming to AEW. The most notable thing he has done is join Team Taz as one of the original members of the faction.
Since then, he’s been kicked out of the faction and became a good guy, feuding with Team Taz ever since. With a grudge match against Ricky Starks set up at the last AEW Dynamite. It now seems like Brian Cage and his wife are very unhappy with how Cage has been booked within AEW.
What Brian Cage’s Wife said about AEW booking
“You see, Brian Cage is a superstar. Those people who know him from indies, IMPACT, Lucha Underground where I met him, know that he’s a superstar. All you have to do is Google him and watch all his matches, PWG. He’s a superstar, and he’s being misused right now.”
“Cage is, to me, lost in the shuffle right now in AEW. He and Powerhouse [Hobbs] could be an excellent tag team, and Cage, in his own right, is a top guy in every sense of the word. AEW just hasn’t seemed to realize that yet. Hopefully, once the dust settles from all the new arrivals, Cage will get his opportunity and have a chance to shine.”
Brian Cage commented with a Gif and liked the post, suggesting that he agrees that he isn’t being booked right within AEW.
Is this right about Brian Cage?
Brian Cage has been part of AEW for a while now. He has had an okay run as part of Team Taz. However, Brian Cage has never been part of a company of this size and the fact that his feud with Team Taz isn’t over, a new feud wouldn’t make much sense. Lance Archer and Brian Cage are some of the wrestlers that are very underbooked in AEW. Other wrestlers are currently getting pushed instead, and it’s possible that passion may be needed when the feud with Team Taz is over.
