‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week off with an interesting episode as some storylines draw closer to an end.
There’s plenty of threads that are coming together to wrap up the Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) storyline after a couple of teases that didn’t matter a whole lot.
This one should be different and he walls are closing in around the media tycoon.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, September 24: Victor’s in control
It was only a matter of time before Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stepped in and took control of something, and since he loves micro managing his family, we suspect it’ll have to do with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
The twist here is we’re not sure it’ll involve digging into Ashland’s past, though that does seem the most likely.
The show loves to give teasers that promise something big but it often ends up being mundane, and we think that’s a possibility here.
Victor won’t step on his wife’s toes with Victoria’s wedding, so it could be setting up their honeymoon or wedding present from himself and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott).
He may be a lot of things, but he wants his daughter to be happy and he’ll ensure she has whatever she wants or needs to help make that happen.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, September 24: Phyllis needs to watch her step
It wasn’t too long ago Victoria tried to destroy Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and take away her hotel and dream, and we could be getting to the point where that’ll happen again.
We’re not there yet, but Victoria will start to get suspicious when Phyllis starts snooping around and will be a little more chatty than usual.
Phyllis has a tendency to be blunt and to the point even when she’s being clandestine, so she could give herself away.
Or she could simply walk away and leave her computer there for perusal. It wouldn’t be the first time, so it’s a distinct possibility.
If this does set Victoria off, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are curious what Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)’s reaction will be.
He’ll definitely blame himself, but how effectively will he shield Phyllis from Victoria’s retribution or vengeance? Especially since Phyllis isn’t one to let others protect her.
It looks like there’s some fun times ahead, but what do you think Victor will be taking over personally?
