‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things moving with some spoilery goodies.
There are a couple of fun looking storylines we hope will pick up some instead of the usual slow burn over months. They just feel like they need a boost instead of being drawn out for weeks or months.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 8: Problems at the top
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) was more than happy to bond with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and putting him at the head of Newman Media, but the honeymoon is over.
Victor’s been wanting to attack and destroy Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chance Comm but Adam’s put that revenge streak to bed.
Instead, he wants to take down Billy on the market by putting out the better product.
And so far, Adam’s way has been the one they’ve followed but Victor’s going to start questioning Adam’s decision making, starting with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and moving onto not going after Billy Abbott.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are curious if Victor will say this to Adam, to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), or to someone he hopes will replace Adam if he doesn’t do it Victor’s way.
Victor’s always been about family, but he’s more about control than even that, especially when family doesn’t obey his every whim.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 8: Devon’s trapped
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)’s emotions are all twisted up regarding Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).
He’s been quick to attack Chance for not being there, and then just as quickly he’ll defend him.
While the writers continue to use these opportunities to character assassinate Chance, who we all know never would’ve left Abby to begin with, this has helped put Devon in a tough position.
We think he misses the opportunity he had with his child and may want another shot, so he’s having a hard time walking the line between being the father he’s not supposed to be and the friend he is to Abby.
So, with his emotions warring inside of him he’s going to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and he’s going to open up like a cracked shell and hope she can help put him back together after sorting through everything.
This will be a tough yet touching scene as Devon will be completely vulnerable and trying to figure things out.
Will Devon be able to keep walking the line? Let us know in the comments below and check back with CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
