Bronson Reed was one of the more surprising releases by WWE. After just losing the North American Champion and preparing for his main roster debut, he was suddenly released. Bronson Reed is one of the latest releases, but his non-compete ended early due to him being under NXT contract, and they only have a 30 Day non-compete.
Since then, Bronson Reed has been teasing his next move in the wrestling industry. In an interview with Busted Open Radio, Branson Reed went on to say that he is currently talking to some of the major promotions.
Talking to Busted Open Radio, he said:
“I’m in talks with the major promotions at the moment. I can’t really say any which way I’m leaning towards. But I do think that what I do offer, a 340-pound man that can go, I don’t think AEW really has that. IMPACT does have some bigger talent, but no one that’s my mold either. So I think I would fit in IMPACT or AEW.
“But I am a huge fan, and I did wrestle in Japan for a long time, so that is definitely somewhere I would like to work again. Granted, visas, immigration, and everything makes it a little difficult at the moment. So, for me at the moment, it’s sort of working on my immigration status. And hopefully in the next few weeks, I’ll have an answer for the fans of where you’ll be able to see me.”
Bronson Reed Is Teasing A Move To Either AEW Or Impact
Looking at the interview, it does seem like Bronson is teasing more of an AEW debut. However, the mention of Impact is also interesting. It’s possible that Bronson could appear at the upcoming PPV. With the current AEW roster growing at a massive rate.
It’s currently hard to know if Bronson would fit into the current colossal roster. Bronson Reed is a great talent, and losing him in a significant shuffle would be a shame. Impact, however, could benefit massively from someone like Bronson Reed. Wherever we see Bronson Reed, it looks like he will be appearing in a major company sooner rather than later.
