Jana Kramer has spoken out amid the tension that her dating life has caused her former friend Kristin Cavallari.
Jana Kramer Speaks Out On The Negativity Towards Her Dating Jay Cutler
Jana, for her part, decided to date Kristin’s ex-husband Jay Cutler following her divorce from her ex-husband Mike Caussin. Given that Kristin had reportedly helped Jana by getting her a divorce lawyer, in addition to helping her settle in as a single mother, her act of dating her former husband to whom she had been together with for around seven-years was seen as an act of betrayal.
As such, Kristin had allegedly blocked Jana on social media. But now, Jana is ready to give her take on things, and by the looks of it, she has no guilt towards how she acted.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said: “I know my truth, I know my heart, I know the person that I am, and I can go to bed knowing those things. I don’t feel like I have to defend — I don’t wanna defend myself anymore.”
It is true to say that Jana does have a point. Kristin and Jay are no longer together. Therefore there should be no restrictions on who either of them can date. And yet, it was the manner in which their ‘relationship’ came out that got Kristin offended.
The duo were pictured having a date at a bar near the same time that Kristin had reportedly gotten with Chase Rice. Naturally, this was seen as an attempt to make Kristin feel jealous.
Sources confirmed as much: “It’s not a coincidence that Jay decided to go public with Jana right after news broke that Kristin and Chase Rice are dating. She wouldn’t have blocked her if she wasn’t good friends with her.”
Regardless of what you may think about Jana’s decision, it is clear that she wants to pursue something with Jay. She has healed from her divorce, and as long as she knows what she is getting herself into, then who are we to say otherwise.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I know who I am, I know my intentions in my heart, and I have respect for everybody involved, so as long as I do things the right way, then I’ll be OK.”
