‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is finally out of that God-forsaken room and safe in the hospital. Thankfully, the baby was fine as well and has been resting. However, while Mariah is deadset on Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) getting caught and locked away, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) seems to feel different about it!
While asking Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) if Ben had been caught and if he would get away with it, Abby seemed upset and felt sorry for what had happened to Ben. But why? Does she still have feelings for him after all these years? How could she excuse what just happened?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) Forgiving Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn (Sean Carrigan)? – Why Does She Care?
Mariah is completely justified in wanting to see him put behind bars, as any sane person would. Though, we all know how Abby is. She is ditzy and does not think around situations very well. There’s absolutely no way of justifying what Ben did, regardless of his circumstances and he’s potentially damaged Mariah emotionally and psychologically for her entire life!
She’s already having nightmares and calling out in the middle of the night for the baby. How long will this affect her? Yet, Abby seems unphased by it, and instead, all she’s thinking about is, “he did all of this for me? How cute.”
I suspect Abby still has feelings for Ben and wants to see him be redeemed. I mean, we’ve given redemption to people who have done a lot worse. *Cough*, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), *Cough*
Is there any chance of redemption for Ben or has he gone too far?
Also, Abby needs to stop walking about clueless and just flaunting everything about the baby in front of Mariah. Give her some damned time.
