‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that since Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) moved to Italy with Harrison to be with Summer Newman (Hunter King), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been descending into chaos and pain.
He’s so lonely that he’s even expressed his undying love for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) which seems like a bad idea anytime. So there’s one question, why doesn’t Jack just move to Italy to be with his grown children?
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) Just Move To Italy If He’s So Heartbroken?
Firstly, we understand that he owns Jabot and it would be a massive undertaking to either pass it on to someone else or work remotely. Then again, there’s always the option of him moving it to Italy? Of course, if he didn’t want to do either of those, there’s always the option of just retiring. He’s worked enough and is very wealthy, what’s stopping him?
The short answer? Probably the writing and the show. Jack has been a staple of the show for decades and doesn’t look like he’s going anywhere anytime soon. It will be a cold day in Hell when we see he or Eric Braeden (Victor Newman) off the show.
So what’s the answer? Find someone to put him with so we don’t have to keep listening to his whining and pity parties. Look, I like Jack. He’s a good character, but this crap that he’s stuck in now is annoying. Kyle is an adult and still lived with his dad. He moved out, you need to let him go.
