‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) looks like he’s regretting being a donor. While he’s very happy and proud that he helped Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) be a mother, he’s upset that he is technically a “father” but not a father at the same time.
Yes, the baby will biologically be his, but that doesn’t mean he’s technically the father in this case. He was a donor for them, but it is Abby and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) child. However, not only is he having his doubts but he has Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) whispering in his ear.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) Didn’t Really Think Out Being A Donor Did He?
Amanda is further pushing the idea that he is a father and he should have a bigger role in the child’s life. This pushes the idea that Devon could potentially end up with Abby Newman in the future. They seem to keep putting them together in scenes and pushing the idea that they could parent Dominic together because at the moment it doesn’t look like Chance will ever be back. Not only is Donny Boaz not going to come back, but it doesn’t look like they will replace him either. So, where does this leave Abby?
The other idea is that Devon and Amanda could get baby fever and perhaps they could have a child together.
Either way, it seems like Devon didn’t think very hard about being a donor. He knew how the situation was going to be and he didn’t factor in the idea that he could possibly have deeper feelings for the child?
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the baby as not only is Devon looking regretful, but so is Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes)!
