‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) has been trying to deal with the trauma of being abducted and forced to give birth inside that tiny room, but to be honest, it hasn’t been going well. She won’t let anyone help her, and no one has really offered any solid help, like a therapist…
Instead, she’s been mentally combatting it herself and fighting her connection to Dominic herself, and it hasn’t gone well. Now, she has in her head that having her own child with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will make everything better. Of course, we know that it won’t, and having a child is never really the answer to any problem.

However, to add further insult to injury, Mariah can’t be pregnant again (or shouldn’t be) for at least a year, so she wants this responsibility to be passed onto Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) so she can experience what it’s like to have a baby and bring life into to the world.
We can clearly see that Tessa isn’t thrilled about this idea but is afraid to push back too much because she feels like she’s been walking on eggshells around Mariah and doesn’t want to set her off or anything.
We all know that this isn’t the right move, but I wonder how Mariah will react to Tessa if she tells her that’s not the answer to her problems. Maybe in the future, but especially since we’re like what, a week out from Dominic being born, this is definitely too soon! Take a deep breath, and talk to someone Mariah. There’s no shame in it.
