It’s highly speculated that Bray Wyatt will return to the ring at the Grand Slam event. This being a massive tribute to the late great Brodie Lee with it being his hometown. It is being reported that Bray Wyatt non compete has been requested to end early.
Now that the card has been confirmed for the show, it is now possible to predict where Bray Wyatt could debut. Before we continue, it’s likely that it will be Wednesday due to the show being live and the Friday show being prerecorded.
FTR Vs. Sting and Darby Allin
Firstly, we don’t really know what kind of Bray we’re going to get. Are we going to get the Fiend kind character or something completely different? A feud with an old Legend like Sting and someone like Darby would make sense. However, Darby has recently had a match with Cm Punk, so having two ex-WWE guys could be a bad idea. The debut however, sets up a feud with Sting. This being tribute to the dream match of Undertaker and Sting that never happened.
Cody Rhodes Vs. Malakai Black
It feels like this will be the last match between both Cody Rhodes Vs Malakai Black. With a massive build to the second match. Hopefully, both will be looking for new feuds after this match ends. Bray Wyatt could feud with either of these for his first feud. Many people may not like it if he feuds with Cody, but it does make some sense. But Malakai Black being a sort of cult leader, may be challenged by another cult. Maybe a Kult of Windham.
Dark Order Segment
One of the easiest ways to have Bray Wyatt debut is through a Dark Order segment. The Dark Order has been falling apart for a while now. It’s possible that a payoff to this will happen in the Grand Slam with Bray taking over. This could be what many fans want and could be the best way to pay tribute to Brodie Lee. The Dark Order’s breakup feels like it’s at a stepping stone, and something needs to push it forward soon.
