When it comes to bright stars in WWE NXT, look no further than Cameron Grimes. He was able to win his feud against LA Knight over the Million Dollar Championship, and now is back to his quest to go To The Moon! After helping start a brawl earlier in the night, Grimes is in action tonight on NXT 2.0.
Former CZW World Champion Doesn’t Like Violence? Joe Gacy Might Be Hiding Something
Joe Gacy would take the ring first, and called the ring the safe space. “I come from a place of conflict resolution where I don’t need to use my male privilege to get what I want.” Gacy wants to just make everyone feel safe, but he won’t be safe in the ring with Grimes tonight. However, once the bell rang Gacy would show that he can hold his own with actions too.
Grimes would get a kick to the face before being crushed in the corner. Gacy nailed a uranage and took a moment to breathe, before applying a chinlock before a handspring lariat for a two count. Grimes would come back with the Cave-In out of nowhere, and I guess this conflict was resolved. Another short match, but this new character of Gacy is interesting.
This is a known deathmatch wrestler, and blows like the Cave-In might drive him over the edge. He’d give an evil glance before going for a handshake in a hug, and it’s clear there is more under the skin here. If not, Virtue signaling white dude is a great lower to midcard heel gimmick, but anyone familiar with Gacy knows that there is something more here.
Electra Lopez Is A Dangerous Woman
With the backing of Legado Del Fantasma, the powerhouse Electra Lopez is going to enter the ring. She’s slammed Carmelo Hayes with ease and took a steel pipe to the back of B-Fab, but tonight she won’t get a cheap shot. Anna Scheer is her opponent, and she might not want to smile. Lopez took her time taking the entrance gear off, before a gut kick and club to the back.
She’d drive Scheer down before throwing her all around the ring. That big scoop slam came into play, before catching Scheer into a swinging side slam. Wasn’t done yet, as she’d nail a Blue Thunder Bomb for the win. Legado Del Fantasma has a killer here. Santos Escobar would hype Lopez up, saying she now completes the faction. Lopez said that tonight was just a taste of what B-Fab will get.
Hit Row was called out, and they’re not gonna take that. Top Dolla & Swerve were on the apron, and B-Fab came from behind for a brawl. Lopez was getting the better of it, and their factions would pull them apart.
