    WWE Raw Results (9/6) – Randy Orton and Bobby Lashley at Extreme Rules for WWE Championship; Tag Team Turmoil Match – The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods) Defeated The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar), Jinder Mahal and Veer w/Shanky, Lucha House Party, and Mace and T-Bar all by Pinfall

    Hello and welcome to WWE Raw Results!

    This looks like it’s going to be an interesting night, barring any last second script changes like last week.

    Let’s get to the action!

    RK-Bro started the show off by heading out to the ring as a recap of their main events from last week played.

    Orton kicked it off by saying how Bobby Lashley and MVP failed miserably to get their titles last week, and they failed simply because Lashley’s a greedy SOB.

    They’ll watch the rest of the night watching their future competition.

    Riddle began going on how they can celebrate in whatever fashion their future opponents do, and he went on about pancakes when Lashley and MVP came out to interrupt Orton’s headache.

    MVP told Riddle to shut up, and then repeated it in Spanish.

    The called Orton’s RKO last week was cowardly, and Lashley pointed out he hasn’t forgotten and he’s there to finish what Orton started and challenged Orton to a one on one match.

    Orton asked him to clarify, and then added he was thinking a couple of weeks ago that it’s been 10-15 years since they last faced each other.

    He said he’d accept on one condition, and that’s Lashley puts the WWE Championship on the line.

    MVP talked it over with Lashley, and then said they’ll face each other at Extreme Rules.

    Lashley said they’ll enter the Tag Team Turmoil and get another shot at the tag titles.

    The New Day came out and wasted no time in telling him to talk to Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville fast because they’re starting the match off, and Woods said they’ve beaten the odds before like when he beat Lashley.

    The Viking Raiders came out to get the turmoil match started.

    Tag Team Turmoil Match

    Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods)

    Orton and Riddle sat next to the announce desk for the match as Ivar and Kofi started it off.

    Kofi used his agility to get an early upper hand, but Ivar caught him with a sitton in the corner, and Erick slammed Ivar into Kofi for a near pinfall.

    Kofi caught Ivar with a stomp, and Woods came in to hit a hurricanrana and spinning kick on Erik before Erik threw him across the ring with a belly to belly suplex.

    Woods hit a tornado DDT and Kofi hit Erik with a kick for a near pin.

    The Viking Raiders caught Kofi’s coffin drop to the floor and threw him into Woods as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial and they’re back in the ring with Woods tagging in Kofi and Kofi took on both Erik and Ivar.

    Erik spiked Woods and Ivar hit a splash from the top rope for a near pinfall.

    Woods rolled up Erik for the win after Kofi took out Ivar with a Trouble in Paradise.

    The New Day vs. Jinder Mahal and Veer w/Shanky

    The New Day jumped them early to get the advantage, but Mahal and Veer were too big and strong and Mahal took control and Veer flattened Woods with a Lout Thez Press as we headed to commercial.

    Back from commercial, and Veer and Mahal continued dominating.

    Woods hit a double stomp off the top rope for the pin on Mahal.

    The New Day vs. Lucha House Party

    The Lucha House Party countered the New Day’s early jump with their athleticism, but Woods wouldn’t stay down for a pair of pin attempts by Dorado.

    Kofi tagged in and hit a splash to Metalik’s back for a near pinfall.

    Dorado hit a double stunner off the ropes and they hit a series of flips on Woods for a near pinfall Kofi broke up.

    Woods reversed a flip for a rollup on Metalik.

    The New Day vs. Mace and T-Bar

    We returned from commercial with Mace pounding on Woods, but Woods hit a missile dropkick to Mace’s left leg.

    T-Bar continued dominating Woods early on. Woods kept fighting back, and countered a knee by T-Bar for another rollup.

    After the match, T-Bar and Mace beat down the New Day.

    Masoor and Ali came out and Mansoor ran in to help the New Day while Ali watched, and when he tried to help he ate a big boot.

    They destroyed Ali and Mansoor on the floor, then T-Bar lawn darted Kofi headfirst into the ring steps Mace held, and then they double slammed Woods into the ring post.

    During the break, Deville said they’re going to give the New Day and Mansoor and Ali some time to collect themselves to continue.

    WWE Raw Results aren’t surprised at this attempt at an intermission. Can’t argue with it since the New Day have been wrestling for an hour, which only strengthens our belief they’ll win.
