‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to head back to some old storylines not that the fun and games of a Tuscany Wedding Olympics as come to a close.
While it looks like most things will be unchanged, there’s potential for a couple of plot twists that could prove interesting, and we have the spoilery goodies to prove it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, October 21: Adam’s first in
Whelp, it’s not going to take Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) long to fire up the Newman Media machine for war, and he’s going to have Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) point him in the right direction.
We’re guessing Devon’s going to know come contacts or the advertisers for Chance Comm and he’s going to send Adam their way to convince them to start pulling their funding.
Devon will only hear the horribleness of the Newman Family Boogeyman and not how Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) stood by his word to protect Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
We are curious how he’ll react when he does learn the truth since he’s also going to be helping destroy his sister. But he may accept it since Victor’s an idol of his.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), on the other hand, knows Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and she may turn against Victor and could sway Devon that way, too.
But that’s months away. Should be interesting to see how it all turns out.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, October 21: Abby’s pretending
It’s been a while since we last saw Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and her problems, and it looks like they haven’t gone anywhere. She’s just doing a better job at keeping up appearances.
She’ll still be struggling without her husband there and the baby will be giving her all the fits a baby tends to give, and that could end up causing more problems later if Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) hears about it.
Still, it’ll be interesting to see how long Abby can maintain this without breaking or her and Devon becoming an item because reasons.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have to admit this isn’t one of our favorite storylines, but we think there’s going to be a payoff at the end that’ll make it worthwhile.
Unfortunately, until then we’re going to be teased with Mariah and Abby having an emotional breakdown at some point, and one or both will probably go down that path before it’s all said and done.
