Impact Wrestling Results returned and this is going to be an awesome match. We’ve been waiting all day for this one.
Their first lockup started a run on arm locks by Trey, and Zayne rolled out of them and used one of his own that Try reversed.
Zayne took Trey down, then sat on him for some gamesmanship. So, then went for a test of strength and several pin attempt by Trey.
Zayne rolled him up for a pin attempt and Trey returned the favor before hitting an uppercut. He avoided Zayne’s dive with a flip.
They continued trading moves, including mutual arm drags before Trey hit a moonsault off the ring apron and went to work on him.
This has been a clinic so far, and they’re starting to get down and dirty by trading strikes and knees.
Trey rolled Zayne into a submission hold but Zayne managed to break the hold, so Trey locked in a rear chin lock.

After another exchange of attempts, Zayne hit a clothesline and followed it with a front flip hurricanrana off the top rope for a near pinfall.
Trey responded by rolling out of a sidewalk slam to hit a running knee for a near pinfall. Trey followed with a couple of Yes! kicks and a superkick, but Zayne managed to slip away and nailed Trey with a knee and put him on the top rope.
Trey boxed his ears and went for a sunset bomb but Zayne held firm. So, Trey stuck Zayne’s head under the ropes to his a super kick and 619, then a meteroa off the top rope for the pin.
As he celebrated, Steve Macklin came out and pulled Trey off the ropes and hammered away on Trey, then hit Mayhem For All.
El Phantasmo and the Bullet Club came out and went after Macklin and the numbers game caught up with Macklin as Bey and Hikuleo held him for a El Phantasmo superkick.
They held Trey, but instead of a superkick El Phantasmo got on his knee and hit a straight shot to Trey’s Little Treys.
Scott D’Amore’s decision for the tag titles is a triple threat match. This feels a little two WWE-ish for us, but it’ll be an awesome match so we’ll see how it turns out.

Josh said he knows it’s a risk, but when compared to how he thought he was done with professional wrestling and had to fight and take every risk to get where he is and he’ll take risks all day long.
The one thing he won’t risk is to send a message to his sons about not chasing their dreams since every risk yields the biggest rewards.
Christian Cage then came out to say his piece.
Christian said he’s been in this spot before and he knows what it’s like to be on the biggest stage and he’s been in matches pay-per-views are named after.
He said it comes down to pressure and how it’s dealt with and he lectured Josh about controlling his emotions.

Christian then said for as much as he respects him, he hasn’t seen anything to make him believe he has it in him.
Josh told him he’s heard it all over the years and pointed out how their careers mirrored each other, and he has a chip on his shoulder like Christian did in 2005 when he came to Impact Wrestling (TNA) to prove himself.
He said as long as Christian is cashing a check from a billionaire that owns a different company he’ll never be a true champion and he’s going to bring the Impact Championship back to where it belongs.
He’ll slam the Forbidden Door on Christian’s face so hard everyone will know it.
Christian claimed Josh isn’t the best wrestler from Canada and how he’s better.
Josh took him down and went for an ankle lock but security came out to try to break them up.
The locker room came out next to break them up after they fought through security and Christian held the championship up to taunt josh.
Josh Alexander’s story was awesome and this ending set it up perfectly.
