WWE Raw Preview are set to head to Crown Jewel, but we have one more stop to make to put the final touches on the pay-per-view’s matches.
We should have a couple of good, if not predictable, matches tonight and possibly a few surprises coming our way.
Raw Women’s Championship – Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Bianca Belair
This should be a good match to set up their rivalry when Belair switches to Raw next week, and she could walk out as champion but we don’t see it happening.
After Belair interfered to cost Becky Lynch her match on Smackdown, we expect Lynch to return the favor tonight.
It could backfire on her and Belair could walk out the Raw Women’s Champion, but we think it’s more likely she’ll win by disqualification or lose by underhanded means because Belair won’t lose clean before Crown Jewel.
It also won’t surprise us if Sasha Banks pops in and the match ends in a free for all brawl.
King of the Ring Semi Finals – Xavier Woods vs. Jinder Mahal
This could be the match of the night as Woods has been given a significant and well deserved push lately, and Mahal’s in the perfect position to put him over heading into the King of the Ring finals.
As you can gather, we think Woods will win tonight after he and Kofi Kingston fight off Veer and Shanky.
We’ll see the Mahal of old as he’ll have his best match since returning from injury, but it won’t be enough.
WWE Raw Preview was sure we’d have a New Day match tonight, but this one could be even better given we expect Mahal to try something dastardly, and it could pay off for him.
Queen’s Crown Semi Finals – Doudrop vs. Shayna Baszler
This one has all sorts of possibilities, but we’re trying to temper our enthusiasm.
We’d love to see this one go ten or fifteen minutes, but we expect this match to be a quick one as Doudrop has been dominate and few WWE women’s matches last more than five minutes.
Baszler’s also become her old dominant self and she’ll give Doudrop everything she can handle and then some.
This is a tough one to call as we can understand the thought process behind Doudrop continuing on, but we’d prefer to see Baszler win and go on to win the tournament.
To be honest, Baszler should’ve been a top champion by now, and this would be a great way to help push her to the top as a major threat in the women’s division.
What do you think? Who will win their respective semi finals? Let us know in the comments below and join WWE Raw Live Results tonight to find out who the winners and losers are.
