WWE Smackdown Results returned and it looks like no Trial by Fire match, but it should still be a good one. We can’t help but wonder if that was a slip by Woods or if we’re missing a deeper understanding.
Woods started it off against Jey, and Jey hit a knee but Woods nailed Jey with a right to drop him for a pin attempt.
After tagging in, Kofi hit a forearm off the top rope for another pin attempt. Jimmy tagged in and they double teamed Kofi for a pin attempt.
Kofi nailed a dropkick and sent Jimmy to the floor with a dropkick, then her tried a leap on both but the Usos caught him and threw him into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.

Kofi never stopped
Back from commercial, we’re back in the ring with Kofi trying to fight his way out of the Uso’s corner without much success.
Jey nailed him with a running knee in the corner, and then jawed at Kofi before hammering away on him.
Kofi countered Jey’s charge with a stomp to buy some time and both tagged out.
Woods took it to Jimmy with a series of kicks and a basement dropkick for a pin attempt, and then continued hammering away, but Jimmy caught him with a right.
Woods responded with a kick and then a gut buster for a near pinfall.
Jimmy then hit a step up kick and tagged in Jey, and he hit a neckbreaker of Woods for a near pinfall.

Jey mocked Woods, and Woods nailed him and they exchanged blows as Kofi and Jimmy tagged in.
Jimmy dodged a Trouble in Paradise and hit a pop up Samoan Drop for a near pinfall.
Jey hit Kofi with a superkick for another near pinfall, and Jimmy came in and they went up for a double Uso Splash but Woods grabbed Jey and Kofi got the knees up for Jimmy.
Woods blind tagged in, and Jey hit Kofi with a superkick for a pin but Woods was legal and rolled him up for the win.
This was a pretty good match, though it did feel rushed. Hopefully the next time they face each other they get some decent time for a longer match.
