Yara Zaya hated that Jovi was obsessed with strip clubs and strippers. She threatened to leave America if he didn’t become a responsible dad and father. Jovi also said she was annoying, and that she spent most of her time with their daughter, Mylah.

So, when Yara said she struggled with poor self-esteem and it was Jovi who helped her build a health self-esteem, fans were shocked. She shared that she used to see herself as “ugly, fat and stupid,” but that changed when she met her husband.
During her interview with In Touch, she revealed that Jovi Dufren was the one who inspired her to create her own makeup line. She had always wanted to do that but he encouraged her one day, when she was shopping for her makeup. At the time, she thought he was “crazy” for even telling her to do that because she thought building a makeup brand was “so much hard to do.”

However, Yara took her husband’s advice and has launched her Boujee makeup line, and has dropped three eyeshadow palettes, titled Bold, Nighttime, Daytime. Her husband has also promoted the new business and wrote, “I am so proud of everything she has accomplished in just a short time!!” Co-stars, Kenneth Niedermeier and David Toborowsky have also congratulated the “boss wife” Yara.
Even though Jovi and Yara may not seem like a perfect couple on The Other Way, it appears that they genuinely love and care for each other. It is obvious that they bring the best in one another. Fans know that Yara has helped Jovi become a better version of himself by encouraging Jovi to read more books and start jogging in the morning.
