Bryan Danielson might have a match with Miro on November 13th at Full Gear, but he’s still willing to step up to the plate at a moment’s notice. When The Acclaimed called Tony Khan a horrible boss, Anthony Bowens was put into the biggest one on one match of his career. On the way to the ring, Max Caster said Bowens was going to end the career of Danielson faster than his father in-law can – a shot across the bow at John Laurenitis.
Bryan Danielson Shuts Down Anthony Bowens, Stomps His Head In And Taps Him Out
Bowens would get the first take down with a tight arm drag, and nailed a second soon after. Danielson got the arm next and wanted a hammerlock, only for Bowens to counter out. They don’t call him the Five Tool Player for nothing, Bowens is a complete package, and was showing it as he had complete control for a big over The American Dragon.
However the tide would quickly turn, as Danielson would quickly almost end things with a cross armbreaker attempt. Bowens rolled and fled to the ropes, moving the apron and being booted off. Danielson would look for the flying knee strike, but was caught and slammed off the apron – and Caster nailed a very slow lariat.
Back in the ring, an olympic slam would get a two count, before some well placed and hard hitting strikes took Danielson back down. Danielson would fire up with some uppercuts, and a big running hammer shot to drop Bowens. Some mid-kicks to the back and front would land before the Buzzsaw Kick would get a two count. Danielson would rush Bowens in the corner, being caught in the corner and nailed with the Arrival in the corner.
Thrown across the ring, he’d go over the top of Bowens, dropkick Caster on the outside, unite the Acclaimed and let them fall together as he dove off the top. Going up again, he’d nail a missile dropkick. The wrists were grabbed, Bowens got his head kicked in – and this one was over with a LaBell Lock. Solid showing, not Danielson’s best in AEW – but he’s just so damn good right now that he doesn’t have bad matches.
More Than Just Strong Words Exchanged Between CM Punk & Kingston Tonight
CM Punk is a man who prides himself on being a professional these days, and that made the outburst of Eddie Kingston all the worse last week on Rampage. Kingston stepped up to Bryan Danielson- and he lost. There is no shame in that, but Kingston tried to fight the referee’s decision, and in a rage got into the face of Punk. Tonight, an emotional powder keg will be face to face with CM Punk.
Kingston would be called to the ring by CM Punk, but was a no show. Until he was mocked by Punk, then Kingston hit the ring with no music or fanfare, ready to kick someone’s ass. Punk asks for an apology, and Kingston is furious. Kingston interrupted the great CM Punk, the worst offense known to man.
Eddie Kingston Is Sorry
He was sorry that he missed Dynamite because he was getting a COVID test to keep everyone safe, and that we didn’t get CM Punk vs. Orange Cassidy. Kingston would ask who the hell Punk thinks he is. He was once a hero, men like Punk, Joe, Homicide and Amazing Red – legends of the indies. Punk would judge someone like Kingston in those times, when he was just trying to break in.
Kingston knows Punk as a selfish man who puts others down to climb above – when Punk views it as holding Kingston to a standard he failed to reach. He saw greatness in him 15 years ago, but the truth is he’s a bum. Kingston would bust his ass to get to AEW, main evented Full Gear 2020 – is that a bum? No one in AEW wants Punk here, and Kingston is the one with balls to say it.
Finally the challenge was made, and Punk deflected before finally accepting and things turning to blows. Kingston wants to fight Punk. He doesn’t care about winning or losing, he just has some steam to blow off. Will Eddie Kingston defeat CM Punk at Full Gear? Let us know what you think in the comment section down below.
