Since his release from the WWE in July, we’ve been speculating on where Bray Wyatt would go next.
We talked mainly about him appearing in AEW or Impact Wrestling and why, but it now appears he may not return to the wrestling world for a while as he and Jason Baker will start a film at the end of November.
This is pretty cool, to be honest. And it shouldn’t be as big of a surprise to us as it is since it was reported that he’s wanted to make a horror movie out of this Fiend character since at least 2020.
Of course, we doubt he’ll be able to use that name unless he managed to file trademarks on his characters first. Honestly, we really hope he did.
But even if he didn’t, he’s so enormously creative he’ll come up with something amazing for us.

Breaking the news
The new came out when Callosum Studios’ Jason Baker told Metro.co.uk about the two of them starting a film. From Metro:
“He’s a phenomenal collaborator, he’s become a really good friend, and we’re actually – you’re the first person that we’re publicly telling about [this]. We’re starting a film at the end of the month.
“Two weeks to go, we’re filming in Tennessee,’ he said. ‘It’s a feature film and it’s something really new and different. I’d say probably the best way to describe it is Ichi the Killer meets Xanadu.
“We had some meetings out there and things happened and things got moving forward, and now we’re going and shooting this feature film with him at the end of the month.”
There’s a slight catch. We mentioned above that he wanted to make a movie about the Fiend, but this is going to go in a different direction, and we’re excited to see what he has in store for us.
“We’re not using any of that – we’re going in a completely different direction, a whole new thing. It should be fun. Hopefully fans of horror and fans of Windham like it!”
As much as we miss seeing Wyatt’s creativeness in wrestling, we can only imagine what he’ll have in store for us when he’s not shackled by Vince McMahon not understanding what he’s trying to do.
This looks like it’s going to be an awesome ride, and we can’t wait to see what comes out of the other end of it.
Good luck, Windham. We wish you the best.
