A Reddit video has gone viral as it showed a white student slapping a black substitute teacher and throwing a telephone at her, after which she stormed out of the class.

According to reports, the incident occurred at Castleberry High School in Texas after the teacher was trying to call security as a result of some dispute. During the course of that event, that is when things kicked off.
In the video footage here, we can see that the student walks up to the teacher and tries to prevent her from calling anybody by pressing the hang-up button.
In response, the teacher tries to usher the student to the side. Following this, the girl slaps her on the arm. The teacher is heard saying the following: “Oh no no no no no no,” to which the girl replies: “Deal with me.”
After realising that things would not be getting anywhere, the student decided to call her mother and demand that she come down to collect her. She is heard saying the following comments: “You wanna talk to her?
“Because she’s Black, and she’s fucking pissing me off right now.” Shortly after, the student launches the phone towards the teacher and walks out of the class.
The video instantly went viral, and with that, people had a lot to say on the matter. A significant proportion of people were of the opinion that the student’s behaviour was unacceptable.
And given that there was some violence used, there are bound to be consequences such as police involvement or a suspension/exclusion from school.
One observer wrote: “If I were her, I’d be extremely embarrassed to even think to act like that in front of the other classmates. That’s not something anyone will soon forget.”
While another stated: “This sub is a fucking pro with her non-reactions. Not sure how familiar she is with this class, but this might have been the best course of action to not have that girl escalate more.”
