WWE has done it again and released a massive amount of talent in one day. The main releases that stand out would be Kieth Lee, Karrion Kross, Mia Yim and Nia Jax. It is currently being reported that most of these were released due to budget cuts, with the quarterly budget reports released on the same day. This year alone we have seen some massive releases including Bray Wyatt and Malakai Black. Its most likly that some of these will end up in AEW but the reason for there firing may impact there future in other companies if they have the same mindset as WWE.
These releases have seemingly been close to every quarterly budget report. However, it seems like 7 of the wrestlers might have got released for a different reason. It is being reported that 7 out of the massive amount of releases were due to being unvaccinated. Its however highly possible we may see more reprots what 7 out of the 18 wrestliers released who got fired for being unvaccinated. Its also not confirmed if any other wreslting company is making there wrestlier vaccinate.
Who is the unvaccinated wrestler
The only wrestler who has been confirmed is Nia Jax. It is possible that out of the wrestlers, Nia could be the biggest star who got released for this reason, and it could be that this reason she is the only known one out of the 7. We will keep you updated on who the others are when they are confirmed. WWE have had alot of problem with Covid over the past 2 years. It makes alot of sense that they are making this a fireable offence. However the fact that WWE wrestlier are still considered independent contracters. They shouldn’t really be aloud too force there wreslting too get vaccinated.
