Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle, has called on the powers that be to remove his daughter’s Royal title.

Thomas, for his part, is not exactly on good terms with his daughter. They have apparently not been in touch ever since Meghan decided to marry Prince Harry and claimed that Thomas had been speaking to the press behind her back.
And this latest incident is not going to patch things up either. The main reason why Thomas feels this way is in response to Meghan’s latest interview on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
While Meghan did come across as more relatable to the public, Thomas felt that her appearance had ended up embarrassing the Royals. After all, it was not a conventional sit-down interview.
In fact, Meghan ended up getting involved in a prank alongside Ellen. During an interview with The Sun, Thomas said: “She insulted the Queen, the Royal Family and the British people.
“She made a complete fool of herself and should lose her title. I love my daughter, but her performance was ridiculous.”
And as part of that interview, Meghan addressed how she would often attend auditions without a functioning car. So much so that the door to the driver’s seat did not open, which meant she had to gain access through the trunk of the car.
And yet, Thomas denies anything of the sort. He claimed that the car was “not a beat-up old car. She got a lot of help starting in Hollywood. She never had to worry about an apartment or spending money.”
The response from the public was much in line with what Thomas had to say. People felt that Meghan was wealthier in comparison to the stories that she was telling.
Therefore, it made her look more disingenuous and was as an attempt to simply improve her public image. One observer remarked: “She went to one of the most expensive schools in Los Angeles.
“But they couldn’t afford to spend more than $5 on a weekend dinner. I mean, during this time, Thomas was working on a hit TV show and had won an Emmy. WTH is she talking about?”
