WWE legend Jim Duggan has given his fans an update about his health following the news that he underwent an operation after being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

WWE Legend Jim Duggan Undergoes Surgery Following His Prostate Cancer Diagnosis

Jim, for his part, has already put himself into wrestling history. His career began in 1979, and after garnering the attention of Vince Mcmahon, he went on to make his debut at WrestleMania III eight years later.

Huge success followed shortly after. He won Royal Rumble a year later, and his achievements were finally recognised when he was put in the WWE Hall of Fame in 2011.

Given that he has created such a rapport with the fans, there was a huge worry when the news came out. At the time of the diagnosis, Jim said: “Hi folks. Deborah and I always share the good times.

“But today we’ve got to share some bad times. ‘I’ve been diagnosed with prostate cancer…So, folks, I know you’ve been thinking and praying for me with this last surgery.”

Clearly, there was a lot of anxiety, given the fact that the surgery could have gone wrong. Not only that, but Jim does have two children. Therefore, there were concerns over whether he would be able to see them again.

However, luckily for everyone involved, it looks as though the surgery went ahead without any major hiccups. In a post to his fans on Instagram, Jim shared a picture of himself from the hospital following the operation.

The post was captioned by the following comments: “Jim’s surgery went as planned. Thank you for your prayers, good vibes and well wishes. Please continue them as he continues to heal.”

The news on social media got the attention of other wrestling stars who came out in droves to send their best wishes to Jim and Debra.

Hulk Hogan, who happens to be his long time friend, had this to say: “Love you, my brother, praying for only perfect health.”

It is great to see Jim in a much better place. He has certainly left his mark on the wrestling world, and let us hope that he is back to his usual self in no time.
