Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
It looks like we’re in for a fun episode tonight as Roman Reigns faces off against King Woods and Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs face the Los Lotharios.
We’re set to rock and roll, so we’ll be back at the 8 p.m EST show time to get WWE Smackdown Live Results up and rolling.
Segment 1
Sonya Deville started the show off by introducing the Smackdown Women’s Survivor Series team that includes Shotzi, Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Aliyah, and team captain Sasha Bank.
Banks and Shotzi went after each other, and then Naomi came out and a brawl ensued as we headed to commercial.
Segment 2
And… we’re back with a match.
Naomi, Sasha Banks, Aliyah vs. Natalya, Shayna Baszler, Shotzi
This started off mostly one sided as Natalya and company controlled most of the flow one Aliyah tagged in, and then they went to work on Naomi with Baszler throwing her into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
After a mad scramble, Naomi hung Natalya up while she had a sharpshooter locked in on Aliyah so Aliyah could roll her up for the win.
So much for Banks and Shotzi solving some of their issues.
Segment 4
Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs vs. Los Lotharios (Humberto, Angel)
This was a pretty decent match as Los Lotharios survived an early assault by Boogs to hit Nakamura high and low for the pin.
Segment 5
Toni Storm challenged Charlotte Flair to a championship match tonight and Flair refused her.
Segment 6
Jeff Hardy vs. Sami Zayn
Per stipulation, the loser of this match is off the Survivor Series team. It should be a good one.
This started off pretty even as it spilled to the floor and Jeff missed a senton into the barricade as we headed to commercial.
Segment 7
This was a really good match that ended with Jeff taking advantage of Zayn complaining about being cheated. Jeff hit a Twist of Fate and Senton Bomb for the win.
Segment 8
Roman Reigns w/Paul Heyman vs. King Woods
Woods started out taking the fight to Reigns, but Reigns powered back and hit a yurinagi on the announce desk as we headed to the commercial.
Segment 9
Woods had it won after hitting a coast to coast flying elbow, but the Usos pulled him off the cover for a DG win.
The Usos wrecked Woods with the ring steps, then Reigns took a knee in the ring because if he didn’t he’d be stripped of the Universal Championship and banned from Smackdown.
So, the Usos took the opportunity to crown him.
This was a great match, and the ending is, well, typical WWE ending but there was no way Reigns would lose the title since he’s being pushed as the greatest ever.
