Hello and welcome to WWE Smackdown Live Results!
Tonight looks like it’s going to be a fun one with a Black Friday Battle Royal where WWE Superstars will face off for the chance to face Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.
We’re going to grab some snacks and we’ll be back at the 8 p.m. EST showtime to get WWE Smackdown Live Results rolling.
Segment 1
Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman addressed the end of Brock Lesnar’s suspension by calling him a loser and then switched to Big E before Reigns said he’ll smash anyone that wins the Black Friday Battle Royal later tonight.
Segment 2
Jeff Hardy and Drew McIntyre vs. Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss
This started off with Jeff doing the bulk of the work since they’re in his hometown, but after he sent Corbin and Moss to the floor, Moss sent him into the time keeper’s area as we headed to commercial.
Segment 3
This was a good match as McIntyre and the rest brought lots of energy before McIntyre hit Moss with a Claymore, and Jeff finished it with a Swanton Bomb.
Segment 4
Ridge Holland w/Sheamus vs. Cesaro
This was a decent match as Ridge looked pretty decent, but Cesaro stole the win with a rollup when Ridge got cocky and mocked him.
Segment 5
Thanksgiving Leftovers Throwdown – Shinsuke Nakamura w/Rick Boogs vs. Angel w/Humberto Carrillo
This was a pretty decent match, though not as much of a street fight as we expected despite Nakamura putting Humberto through a table when he played Boogs’ guitar.
Angel took advantage of it to his a Wing Clipper on Boogs for the win.
Segment 6
Charlotte Flair and Toni Storm had a back and forth in the ring where Flair mocked her, and then hit her in a face with a pie.
Segment 7
Naomi and Sasha Banks vs. Shayna Baszler and Natalya
With Deville joining the announce team, we already know something will happen.
This started off ass a good match, and Banks broke up a Kirifuda Clutch on Naomi with a Backstabber as we headed to commercial.
Segment 8
This was a good match that Naomi won with a sunset flip over the top rope for the pin.
Segment 9
Black Friday Invitational Battle Royal
The match was about to get underway when McIntyre came out with his sword. Everyone cleared the ring and he took a swing at someone’s head after being kept out of the match.
Adam Pearce came out to calm him down as we headed to commercial.
Segment 10
A slew of eliminations started it off as they wasted no time after McIntyre left the ring. Moss acted like he was turning on Corbin, so Corbin eliminated him and they shared a laugh as we headed to commercial.
Segment 11
This was a fun match despite the early McIntyre moment, and Zayn upset everyone by eliminating Jeff Hardy to win.
Hos moment was then stolen when Kayla Braxton announced Brock Lesnar‘s suspension was lifted and he’ll be at Smackdown next week.
This was a pretty good show they were close to ruining with McIntyre’s stunt before the battle royal, and the ending was perfect though we feel for Zayn.
