‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to hit the midpoint of the week with some spoilery goodies.
There’s going to be some more reveals today as we move further ahead in the character development phase for the current storylines and it should be interesting to see how they’re setting it up.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 15: Bearer of shocking news
Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) knows when to walk into a room bearing news, good and bad. What makes this even more interesting is her news is meant for Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd).
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect the news will have to do with the person responsible for the attack that injured Chance and killed his friends.
We’ve been saying his past will come back to haunt him, and we stand by that as Christine’s news will probably be along the lines of the suspect eluded then, was captured and escaped, of is believed to be heading to or in Genoa City.
This would trigger Chance’s underlying guilt and frustration at not being allowed to finish things and push him over the edge he’s been fighting to remain on.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 15: Victor gets some ammo
Of course, with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) looking to finally destroy the Newman Boogeyman Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), he’s bound to get something that’ll give him the upper hand.
In fact, we think it’ll be video of Billy’s conversation with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victor will see a man ripe to be crushed and Billy pushing Victoria away will be the final bit on inspiration Victor needs.
We doubt he’ll be sucked in too far, but he’ll definitely celebrate while insulting Billy throughout.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 15: Meet Dark Billy
While Victor gloats and plots, Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) will approach Billy, either purposely or accidentally.
What he’ll get isn’t the broken man he expected. Instead, Billy will appear as broken as he’s show so far, but he’ll let Dark Billy out for a stroll.
This will be an interesting exchange because we think it’ll be one of the few times Ashland will be worried and exhilarated.
Billy’s antics will take him by surprise, but he’ll be thrilled as he’s seen other people react the same way after he’s broken them. Probably even his best friend he left to die after switching identities.
What he won’t see is he’s being drawn into Billy’s trap like everyone else.
