‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to get over hump day with some spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to get some updates and a deal to move some storylines along into what should be some interesting arcs.
What’s going to make these especially fun is the potential twists that could come down the road, so we’re crossing out fingers they’ll be more than casual mentions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 29: Nikki and Victor are shocked
Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi) has been showing some progress in his battle with cancer as he and the new treatment managed to battle it to a draw.
So, it makes sense his surprise for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he’ll see them before going to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
In this case, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect the news to be good as he’ll want them to help set up a small celebration for him and Victoria.
If the news is bad, then we expect him to ask them to help make preparations for when he passes. We’re still not sold on his illness being legit since he seems to be the only one that talks with the doctors, so we’ll have to wait and see.
There’s also the possibility that Victoria told him about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s plan and he’ll rat them out.
Given what could be at stake for Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) it’d make sense, but we don’t think Victoria will be in on this part of the plan.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, December 29: The deal
Speaking of the deal we mentioned above, it looks like Victoria is going to want a hefty payment for her silence, and it could be due if their plan fails to ensure Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) don’t win.
The deal could be anything from helping her acquire Chance Comm, or to even merging with Chancellor Industries.
Either way, it’ll be dangerous for Billy and Lily as any misstep could mean their ruin. Hence why the possibility of Ashland ratting them out if Victoria told him about their plan.
He’ll do it for her, thinking she’ll be pleased, but that will quickly blow up in his face.
