‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some fun spoilery goodies.
This looks like it’s going to be a fun episode as we’re going to get some good family drama, and we hope the writers are willing to push some boundaries instead of playing it safe.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Devon wants his rights
And the fun’s going to start as Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will surprise Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) by asking for them to give him more parental rights.
To be fair, it never should’ve gotten to this point had everyone not been enabling Abby when Chance was gone, and since he is Dominic’s father it makes sense.
So, of course Chance and Abby will be shocked by his request along with some other fun emotions.
While Abby will be confused and feel betrayed that he’d ask that, Chance will probably feel like Devon’s trying to push him out.
This could potentially trigger Chance, but knowing the show it’ll be a slow burn until he hurts a group of people. This is possibly one of the most bizarre storylines as there was no need for any of this.
But then they wanted to wait months to recast Chance.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Lauren’s in charge
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) in action, and it looks like she’s going to return with a chip on her shoulder.
In this case, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think she’s going to want some payback on Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) after the wedding dress swap out.
To do that, we think she’s going to try to use Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) to spy on Sally and as a way to put her out on the street.
Sure, it’s extremely petty, but that’s also standard operating procedure on daytime television so we’re going for a fun possibility here.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 27: Victoria isn’t buying
In his quest to topple Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will look to protect those he cares about.
So, he’s going to fill Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about his plan and she’s not going to buy what he’s selling.
This will be an interesting segment as Victoria will stand her ground and we’re curious if this will also be a test whether or not she runs to Victor with the news or remains quiet and helps Billy by doing so.
