Prince William has decided to choose his father, Prince Charles, at the expense of his brother Prince Harry.
British Royal Family News: Author Claims Prince William Chose Charles Over Harry
That is according to author Christopher Andersen in his book entitled ‘Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan.‘
The dynamics between the Royal family and Harry have been strained even further in light of revelations that Charles reportedly had made the statements about Archie’s skin colour that Meghan and Harry mentioned in their Oprah Winfrey interview.
But given that William had remained silent on the matter, it looks as though he has chosen to side with his father. That has naturally not gone down well, with the two brothers apparently having a lot of friction.
During an interview with Fox News, Christopher said: “There’s a lot of bad blood between them now. It’s really Charles and William versus Harry and Meghan. William is fiercely loyal to his father.”
Such a statement is not going to enable the Royal family to unite. And this is something that is of huge concern given the ailing health of Queen Elizabeth II.
But rather than putting their differences aside for the sake of the Royal family, like they had done when Harry attended Prince Philip’s funeral, it seems that the brothers have burnt all bridges.
Christopher added: “William is not returning Harry’s phone calls and hasn’t for months. Charles and Harry have not spoken at all.”
This begs the question, will Harry, William and Charles patch things up? According to Christopher, this is extremely difficult given that they had attempted to do so at Philip’s funeral.
An apparent showdown with all three of them failed to achieve the desired result. The following comments confirmed as much: “After Prince Philip’s funeral [in April], they set up a meeting with the three of them.
“Harry, William and Charles – with nobody else around. It did not go well.” Regardless of what Christopher has stated, these are ultimately still claims until one of them verifies them.
