This year saw Ring of Honor revive their women’s division in a big way, crowning the first ever ROH Women’s World Champion. There was a giant tournament to crown the first champion, with the rookie sensation Rok-C getting the final win over Miranda Alize to claim the title. This reign wouldn’t get much time to shine before we would see what Rok-C could do, as ROH is now shut down until April 2022.
Rok-C Was Set Up For A Impact Wrestling Debut At Final Battle: End Of An Era
However – things looked promising for Rok-C, as after a defense against Willow Nightingale at Final Battle: End Of An Era? AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Deonna Purrazzo would lay down a challenge.
After she defeats Mickie James to claim the Impact Wrestling Championship, she wants Rok-C to come face her with three world championships on the line. This was a huge set-up, but now it might actually not lead to anything. All that we got was a handshake, but now Rok-C could be on her way to WWE instead.
Sighted At Recent WWE Tryouts
Pictures from the most recent WWE tryout would show Rok-C as part of the hopefuls at the event. Their women’s division in NXT 2.0 lacks depth, and they are likely looking to recruit some young talented names to fix this.
Rok-C is both of these things, at only 20 years old and having been trained by WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T. She started her training at just 16 years old, and made her debut at 18 years old for Texas based promotion Reality of Wrestling.
Wise beyond her years, she quickly was able to make her way to bigger promotions, and could find herself in WWE before she hit 21 years old. Few could fault her for this, as even with the door open for Impact Wrestling? You’re almost always going to make more money in WWE.
Even if Rok-C is signed to WWE for a few years and released, she will still be in the starting years of her career – and could get a massive boost in popularity thanks to being in the promotion.
