Tayshia Adams has spoken publicly for the first time over her split from her fiancé Zac Clark.
‘The Bachelorette’: Tayshia Adams Speaks Out Following Her Split From Zac Clark-‘I’m Heartbroken’
The former star of ‘The Bachelorette’ and the show’s current host had decided to walk away from her engagement after a year. Rumours of discontent first started to emerge when Tayshia was pictured without her engagement ring in public.
Soon after, the inevitable came with Tayshia and Zac confirming that they would be parting ways. Such a decision was hard to take, which is why she has been left reeling from it.
During an interview on the ‘The Bachelorette: The Men Tell All’ show, Tayshia said: “All I have to say is that I’m heartbroken.
“But we tried really hard, and I still love him very much, and I’m not sure what the future holds. You know how it is, it’s really tough.”
Nevertheless, this does not mean that the pair are over for good. This is because of the following reasons. First of all, sources claimed at the time of the split, they were merely on a ‘break.’
Therefore, there is plenty of time for the pair to work out whether or not they would be better off without each other. Secondly, as in the case with Bachelorette couples, it is not out of the realms of possibility for the duo to end up reconciling.
After all, Clare Crawley and Dale Moss managed to do it initially before they broke up for a second time. But nobody ever saw that coming at all.
And with Tayshia’s close friends and family by her side, she is in the best possible position to take her time and work out what is best for her.
In response to her ‘heartbroken’ admission, Tayshia’s co-host and friend Kaitlyn Bristowe had this to say: “I sadly do know how it is, it’s really hard, but we’re here for you and obviously want you to be happy.”
Time will tell whether Tayshia and Zac will ever get back together. But regardless of what happens, the pair need to do what is right for them, even if that means walking away for good.
