    WWE Smackdown Results (12/17) – Drew McIntyre pulled the Sword from the Desk; Ridge Holland w/Sheamus Defeated Cesaro by Pinfall; Naomi Defeated Shayna Baszler by Pinfall; The New Day (King Woods, Kofi Kingston) Defeated The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) by Pinfall; Paul Heyman is Fired, Brock Lesnar Destroys Roman Reigns and the Bloodline

    WWE Smackdown Results returned as Roman Reigns arrived to Paul Heyman’s joy, but it ended up being Brock Lesnar that got out of the limo instead and Heyman was taken aback and a little nervous.

    Lesnar wished him good luck with Reigns.

    Happy Time

    Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss came out for another Happy Time with Adam Pearce’s desk with Drew McIntyre’s sword stuck in it.

    Corbin welcomed the desk as a new edition to the show, and mocked Angela being just a sword to McIntyre while to him it’s a special design that can cut cigars, clean under nails, etc.

    Moss ran of a handful of jokes, so Corbin gave him the sword for his razor sharp wit but he couldn’t pull it out. Corbin was next and he couldn’t pull it out.

    McIntyre came out to reclaim Excalibur, er, Angela, and asked if they’re having performance issues.

    McIntyre sent Moss to the floor and dropped Corbin with a Glasgow Kiss and pulled the Sword in the Desk out with little effort.

    Ridge Holland w/Sheamus vs. Cesaro

    Cesaro wasted time going after Sheamus before the match started, and Holland nailed him from behind with a billy club as we headed to commercial.

    We came back and Cesaro’s ribs were taped up during the break and he’s ready to wrestle.

    Holland went right to work on Cesaro’s ribs with knees and a backbreaker and then a stretch hold.

    Cesaro fought back with an uppercut and a reverse suplex despite his injured ribs, and took it to Holland and clotheslined him over the top rope.

    Sheamus distracted Cesaro and Holland hit a slam for the win.

    Naomi vs. Shayna Baszler

    Naomi came out and talked about her Christmas list, and this year her only wish is to face Sonya Deville one on one.

    Deville came out and told her she has another opponent for Naomi and said it’s Shayna Baszler.

    While Deville slowly removed her jacket Baszler attacked Naomi from behind and went after Naomi’s left leg and continued to focus on to when the bell rang but Naomi rolled Baszler up for the win.

    Such bad booking to have Baszler being a jobber so easily week after week.

    The New Day (King Woods, Kofi Kingston) vs. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso)

    Kofi and Jey started it off and Kofi hit an SOS early for a pin attempt.

    The Usos gained the upper hand with a blind tag and some double team moves on Kofi and Jey nailed Kofi with a clothesline on the floor as we headed to commercial.

    Woods tagged in after the break and took it to both Usos with a series of moves that cleared he ring, and then knocked Jimmy to the floor with a clothesline.

    After Woods distracted the ref so he missed a tag, Kofi hit Jimmy with a Trouble in Paradise for the win.

    Reigns fires Heyman, Lesnar takes out Reigns

    Roman Reigns arrive and came to the ring with Paul Heyman and the Usos at his side and demanded Chicago acknowledge him and the fans did.

    He pointed out how he doesn’t like seeing his cousins lose, but they’re family and can get through anything because their blood.

    He called out Heyman for not being his blood and how he should know better than anyone that people can’t disrespect him because it disrespects his entire family.

    He then asked Heyman is he can trust him.

    The fans chanted “No!”

    Reigns said he seems a little shady to him, and then repeated his questions about it Heyman knew where Lesnar was going to be as well as his suspension being lifted.

    He then asked if Heyman’s a special council or an advocate. Reigns refused to give Heyman his mic, so Heyman had to get another.

    Before he could speak, Reigns asked why is he protecting Brock Lesnar from him.

    Heyman told him he’s not protecting Lesnar from him, he’s protecting Reigns from Lesnar.

    Lesnar on a rampage

    The Usos urged Reigns to get him for disrespecting him and hugged him and thanked his for his honesty and service to his family, then he fired him.

    Reigns walked away, the turned and dropped Heyman with a Superman Punch. Reigns then got a chair and put it under Heyman’s head and readied for a Con-chari-To but Brock Lesnar came out.

    The Usos went after Lesanr and lesnar ran through them and F-5’d Jey. Jimmy hit him with a superkick, so Lesnar hit him with an F-5.

    Lesnar slid in and Reigns hit him several times with an F-5, but Lesnar powered through and nailed him with an F-5.

    Lesnar slid into the ring and Reigns hit him several times with a steel chair but Lesnar ignored it and hit an F-5, then another as the show ended.
