It is no secret that Britney Spears’ relationship with her family has been damaged. Although her father Jamie Spears was at the heart of the conservatorship battle, in which Britney was deprived from making major financial decisions independently, the very fact of the matter is that her siblings could have done more.
And now that she has managed to obtain a court victory, it looks as though Britney is cutting ties for good. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Britney hinted that she was looking to make a fresh start.
In the video here, we can see someone releasing many birds from their cages. The post was captioned by the following comments: “SYMBOLIC of my year this year.” Much in the same way, it seems that Jamie has decided to move on too.
After all, she has spoken previously on how she was going to release a book in order to get her side of the story across. And given that she and Britney cannot work things out behind the scenes, it may be best to walk away.
In a post on Instagram, Jamie Lynn Spears shared a picture of herself looking on with a serious expression. The post included the following words: “You tried your damnedest… bless your heart.
“Hoping 2022 brings nothing but healing, love, peace, and happiness to you all- wishing every a safe and Happy New Year.”
The response on social media was firmly in favour of Britney. Her fans urged her to react and take action against all those who had made her life a living hell. As a result, it was the only way that Britney could possibly move on with her life.
One person wrote: “Don’t forget to press charges against your father and sister for holding you captive!!!”
Time will tell whether Britney Spears does decide to take further legal action against her family, but one thing for sure is that she does not want them in her life anytime soon. With that in mind, she should just stay focused on her own happiness.
