‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all ready to dive into some fun spoilery goodies.
This looks like it’s going to be an interesting episode as we’re going to get some fun interactions and surprises, on top of some heartfelt advice.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 5: Abby catches Devon off guard
This has the potential to be the most interesting scene in the episode as it has a couple of possible ways it could go.
The best option that seems to fit the current storyline could be Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) surprising Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) with their decision to give him more parental rights.
This will be a bone of contention with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finds out, but Abby’s shown she’s her own person so it should be interesting to see how it all works out.
Another option is that Abby will just startle Devon as he’s playing with or feeding Dominic. It’s pretty typical we’ve seen often enough with their spoilers, but it could lead to the above storyline so we’ll have to wait and see what they have in store for us.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 5: Nick gives Noah a nudge
Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) has been stuck in neutral for the most part since he returned from London, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will sit down with him for some father, son time.
This will be a fun scene as Nick will try to coax more information out of Noah while also nudging him toward exploring a new opportunity.
It could be working with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) or something else that Noah or Nick came across but it’ll probably be good for Noah to dive into.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, January 5: Chance drafts Rey to help
Since he’s been back, Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) has been dealing survivor’s guilt and PTSD no one’s bothering to help him with, so he’ll ask Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) to help out.
In this case, we think Chance is going to try to get Rey to help speed him through the red tape and get back on the force, which isn’t the best idea Chance has had.
Rey will be willing to help, so long as Chance can make it through the tests to prove he’s capable of rejoining the police department.
He think he’ll find a way to do it and Abby will be mixed on it, but that’s nothing compared to the possible damage that will happen down the road if Rey comes through for him.
