Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Under Pressure To Drop Spotify Deal

We have continued to express our concerns to Spotify to ensure changes to its platform are made to help address this public health crisis. This statement came after Musician Neil Young and other music stars criticized Spotify for giving Joe Rogan a platform to air his Covid misinformation point of view. Young then led a charge by asking Spotify to remove his music from its platform since they decided not to remove Rogan’s episode containing Covid vaccine misinformation.
“They can have Rogan or Young, not both.” The musician said. With the Royal Couple’s involvement with Spotify, based on their multi-million dollar podcast deal, a lot of people are calling for them to follow Young’s footsteps and walk out of their deal.
George Grant wrote on Twitter, “wish Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will follow what they have just asked Spotify. Meet this moment and walk out of the deal. Harry and Meghan, will you put your money where your collective mouths are?” Also, one Michelle Renner said, “I’m disappointed they didn’t stand up for the truth, in this instance.”
